Work With Us
Destiny Recovery and Wellness Centre is growing — and we are looking for passionate, dedicated individuals to join our team.
We are a for-profit Indigenous-led social enterprise rooted in traditional knowledge, land-based healing, and community care. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds, with a priority on hiring Indigenous Knowledge Keepers, Land-Based Practitioners, and those with experience supporting Indigenous and northern communities.
We believe that healing is possible — for individuals, families, and entire communities — when we return to the land, honour traditional ways, and walk the recovery journey together.
Current Opportunities
🌿 Indigenous Knowledge Keepers / Elders
We are seeking Knowledge Keepers and Elders to guide land-based healing practices and ceremonies at our centre. You will work alongside staff to support clients in reconnecting with culture, ceremony, language, and land.
🌿 Land-Based Program Staff
Work directly with clients in outdoor, land-based activities that support wellness and recovery. Activities may include traditional land skills, arts and crafts, harvesting, ceremony preparation, and other cultural practices. Must be comfortable working outdoors and collaborating with Elders and Knowledge Keepers.
🌿 Addictions Recovery Support Staff
Provide daily support and mentorship to clients in residential programming. Duties include facilitating groups, providing one-on-one support, assisting with programming and cultural activities, and helping maintain a safe, supportive environment.
🌿 Cultural Coordinators / Program Facilitators
Lead or co-facilitate cultural workshops, Indigenous arts and crafts, language classes, or wellness groups. We are looking for facilitators who can bring cultural pride, creativity, and Indigenous community connection into our programming.
Why Work With Us?
🌿 Indigenous-led workplace grounded in respect, healing, and community
🌿 Flexible scheduling for cultural obligations and community work
🌿 Opportunity to shape new models of land-based healing and recovery
🌿 Competitive compensation (pay is determined by role and experience)
🌿 A team deeply committed to reconciliation and Indigenous wellness
